what options do I have after fucking up?

Currently at a semi-target school. Had a 3.9 gpa last year and I'm on pace to have a 3.3 gpa going into junior year. Banking is pretty much out for me, is there anything else that I might have a chance to get in finance?

what happened was I went from spending all my time studying, to wasting alot of time just being lazy and overconfident this year. I have bb pwm and 2 ER internships (one for the upcoming summer), but I'm pretty sure my grades will hold me back significantly next year. Any ideas? can I "network" my way out of it or am I stuck? Pretty much everyone at my school who made banking had atleast a 3.7

I went from a 3.7 going into my last semester and finished with a 3.3 and it worked out pretty Ok for me...

You give me a gift? *BAM* Thank you note! You invite me somewhere? *POW* RSVP! You do me a favor? *WHAM* Favor returned! Do not test my politeness.

i clicked on this thread after seeing 'what options do I have after fucking' on the sidebar... i have to say this thread was not as grand as i thought it would be =(

I did the same thing...To the OP I would just work to get your grades up. Aside from that keep networking, a 3.3 is not great, but not killer

I really thought you took a dump on your MDs chest or something. Having had that in mind, this thread is just fail as far as I'm concerned.

I got BB offers as a sophomore with a 3.3. I networked like a champ coming from a bottom target. That's what it boils down to, who you are, how well your resume tells a story, and how you differentiate yourself. I had 0 related experience too, you have infinitely more than I do or many juniors even.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.
