What Prop Firms to apply to

I am a college Sophomore and was unsure of what exactly I wanted to do in finance until I learned the life of a Prop trader. I have since become very inclined to work at one, and was interested in applying to as many as possible for a summer internship.

I have looked at many different firms, but am having difficulty finding what kinds of products, and strategies the firms use specifically. I have strong math skills as I am an applied Econ major, but certainly no quant, or engineer.

If anyone could specify which firms would be best for someone interested in less quantitative style trading firms I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance :)

I don't recommend it but.... (some might be more quant, my memory isn't doing so well) Jane street, getco, and the likes are probably too quanty. SIG is quant, but I thought their interview questions were much easier a few years ago compared to JSC.

Good: DRW Jump Optiver (churn & burn) First New York Securities SIG (I think they take interns)

Note Sure: Wolverine Transmarket Group

Lower Tier: Trillium (I think their intern policy is like Wellesley's all-female policy... if u know Wellesley enough then u'd get what I mean. Either way, ur chance at "just applying" is 0%) SMB (I know they take interns)
