What school from this list would be the best for IBD?

I know these are considered non-targets but which would give a student the best chance to break into IB? Thanks.

CUNY Baruch College
Umass Boston
Ohio State
University of Florida
Penn State

Penn State if u can get into the Nittany Fund, but a very tough group to crack. Depends a lot on how much you hustle.

Aside from getting into IBD, the one I like the least would be Penn State due to it being in the middle of nowhere. Is PSU considerably better than the others on this list, or is it only slightly better?

UF, Penn State, and Baruch are all solid sleepers.

I'd hedge on being a top student at Baruch for the geographical networking opportunities knowing myself in your position; but like someone above said, doing NLF at PSU or the MSF at UF will place you lights out.

I didn't go to Florida but grew up in the state - I know 2 individuals that went the MSF UF route and both placed into solid groups at different lower tier BBs in NYC. Aside from the individuals I know personally, I'm under the impression that several others in their program successfully placed into decent MM / lower BB groups throughout ATL, CHA and NYC (this is just based on word-of-mouth and LinkedIn, full disclosure).

Can't speak to Ohio State - haven't run into any of their alum in NYC IBD / PE, but that could very easily just be my experience. Hope some others can chime in and help. Best of luck!
