Ask questions that you are wondering and contribute to the forum. No one knows what position you are in, what you know is something else doesn't know. Not everyone will like what you have to say but you brush it and improve yourself.

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Help me to understand the philosophy by which you speak.

I'll take a stab at this. A great performing business today may not perform great tomorrow. A person that's a fuck-up today, may learn from their fuck-ups and not be a fuck up tomorrow. The world is in constant motion. Things change.
Don't be mean to me. I am new to.

I tried.

there are a lot of trolls here. Be aware of that.
Be aware there's also some people who don't like dissenting opinions.
Try saying anything politically liberal and you'll get shit.
Also a ton of people are speaking right out their butt. 100% agree with "Inexperienced 18 year olds will be giving career advice to older people."
Some 20 year old sophomore will be pretending to be an analyst and give advice to a bunch of associates. I kid you not. They hit puberty and want to tell everyone else what's so.

Earth walker wants conservatives silenced on this forum like they are in the majority of mass media outlets and many fortune 500's. Nonconformity will not be tolerated by sjws.

I love dissenting opinions and hope you speak up.
Only by hearing the full range of opinions can we have discourse.

what you should know is that the vast majority of users here are in a "front office or bust" mentality, so career advice will be skewed in that direction

  1. use the search function
  2. go through the top threads, I GUARANTEE your question has been answered
  3. look at top users' AMAs, lots of good stuff in there
  4. read the success stories, it will answer lots of your questions
  5. be curious
  6. be humble
  7. most importantly, it's the internet, don't take it too seriously

Always listen to thebrofessor, and others who make an effort to help people- there are still a lot. Find those people who are always serious and follow their postings.

For the most part, try to avoid trusting to people who literally googled "shit post" and made it their profile pic.

You'll get better answers the more specific you make your question and context you give. You'll get more answers the more vague and open-ended you make your question. Decide on what you want.
