What should I do in my situation???

Hey guys,

So I am a sophomore attending a target right now and here is my resume:

http://www.razume.com/documents/16726

I am currently considering careers in banking, S&t, and advisory for a big 4 (more of a long shot). What summer opportunities should I be considering?

I am currently looking at sophomore internships in Hong Kong/ Singapore, etc. as well as the sophomore programs in NYC. Other than that, do you guys have any suggestions? I am trying to get a banking or s&t internship this summer so i can decide earlier on whether or not its for me. Thanks guys, I appreciate whatever feedback!

in my mind:

looking for a job in HK / singapore would be a nice difference maker for your big SA recruiting season next year... plus it will help your chinese (at least in Singapore, obviously they speak cantonese in HK, but you may get to travel to the mainland on deals). You've already had the boutique internship which should mean your fine in terms of pre junior year SA experience in the US

Resume wise - I'd say get rid of "beginners spanish", it doesn't add anything to your candidacy and just looks like you're trying to pick anything possible to through on there. Also I'd watch out for having one word hanging at the end of bullets under your work experience.

With that GPA if you're at a good target (the term "target" is thrown around lightly on this site), you're gonna be good.

Also, the last bullet, the one under the minority students association, needs a rewrite

thanks for the response! Does anyone know how competitive a sophomore internship at a BB in HK/ Singapore without any contacts would be though? I know they are near impossible in NYC since most of the programs are focused on promoting diversity.
