What should my career path to private equity be?
I'm at a non target in London - South Bank Uni - studying Finance and Accounting. I want to work in private equity by way of an MBA at a world top 10 (or top 20) programme. I know what I need to do to get there, but I can't decide whether or not I....
do a finance internship this year, followed up by a corporate banking (or consultancy) internship in my final year, with a few years in banking or consultancy, to then go on to do an MBA.
Or, apply to a target school to do my masters in finance, and by then at least 2 internships under my belt (and one more IB internship during my masters), maybe an investment bank will hire me?
