What to do - Went through second phone interview
I went through my second phone interview yesterday morning (Wednesday) for a SA position, in the west coast.
The guy (associate) in the end told me that the superday is Friday. He then went on to ask me if I'm free on that date even though it's such short notice. Overall, he REALLY sounded like I was going to that super day. He then told me that this lady from HR would contact me immediately (since there was only two days left) and let me know the details.
I've waited till now (interviews are tomorrow in the west coast), and still have nothing.
At this point I think I got cock blocked, but what do you think I should write in an email?
I have the email address to two of the associates emailing me, and the HR lady. Who should I contact?
If I have to write to HR, is this email good?
Dear Miss Smith,
I am writing regarding the Summer Analyst interviews at ________. I had my second phone interview with Mr._______ yesterday, and was told I would be given details regarding the superday interviews taking place tomorrow.
I would appreciate if you can get back to me with details regarding the final interviews at ______.
I eagerly look forward to hearing from you.

Oh and also... he kind of implied that if I can't make the superday something might work out. Do banks have two different superday dates (for people from different schools with different schedules?).

I would actually call HR...say the same thing over the phone basically. Don't worry, banks usually suck with these types of things...they are really busy and it is recruiting season for SA, so everything is messy. But definitely call. Good luck!

Absolutely call them, if they told you HR would contact you ASAP. Usually HR is extremely helpful with this stuff. I had to reschedule a return flight back from a Superday on the west coast because the interviews ran later than expected and they re-booked me a flight 6 hours later so I could stay for the entire slate of interviews. If they want you there, they'll make sure you get there, even if it is last second.
thanks guys.. I called them and emailed them and they just pretty much forgot. Looks like I'll have to rush to the airport and catch a flight tonight.
Good thing this forum got back to you in time to make your flight. Good example for people to realize that simply picking up the phone and making the call is usually the best thing to do. Why waste time worrying about it. HR might be inept when it comes to email, but they're usually around and you can reach someone on the HR team by phone for a quick answer to your question.
