What to do after my MBA?

Hi all

I'm currently in an MBA programme with a major in Corp Finance at a target school. I've been looking to go into IB afterwards, but will probably have to move to another European country - think Netherlands, Germany, France - because my country doesn't really have an IB scene. Since doing an IB internship internationally is pretty much impossible for me, what is the best thing I could do?

I was also thinking of starting off in Big 4 financial consulting domestically and then moving on to IB abroad.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Indeed, maybe I should've added some more back story. Quite frankly, I don't think it's financially pheasible for me right now. I did an international non-finance internship in undergrad where I discovered that I'm really good at finance and analytics which made me pursue a masters. Right now, don't really have the cash to support a move anymore

internships should be paid. I know there are some costs when moving, but all you need is a flight ticket, visa fees and some spending money.
If you already have a finance internship then you have more than many other applicants.

If you like finance that much than create a spreadsheet and see where you can make the missing amount to do a decent internship in London.

Maybe I can move some things around to get by financially. Do you reckon it's still possible for me to get a summer internship for 2021? All of these threads give me anxiety that I'm never early enough for an application.

And on another note, is it worth it to run an extended internship when I already graduate? E.g. a 6 month internship when I already have my MBA or just apply to analyst positions then?

I can't help on the MBA grad side, I never went that route. others on here have, so maybe they'll chip in.

Do whatever it takes to get your foot in the door of your favorite bank. Internship or anything they'll offer. maybe they'll convert you into FTE,

If you don't have British passport just don't forget you need sponsorship and/or other steps, freedom of movement will stop next week.
