What to listen to while gaming or hiking?

I spend a lot of time doing things where I could be listening to something productive, like gaming, hiking, exercising, etc. I’d love any recommendations for anything audio based like podcasts about investing, macroeconomics, or anything generally educational that I could listen to while doing other passive activities.

My goal is to likely try to get into the HF space after my stint in banking, so I’m trying to educate myself as much as possible in the meantime while I’m still in college.

Thanks everyone!

This is more of a new development for me but i really enjoy listening to “Invest like the Best” whenever i cook dinner and clean. 70% of the time i feel like its not even about investing but more about general life principles that highly successful investors live by, which id argue is more valuable than any niche investing advice that a podcast might touch on. If you’re looking for a bit more investing focused, id recommend point72’s recent podcast. Only 3 episodes have been released so far but I think they actually do an incredibly job laying out the lens with which to understand investing through

Invest like the best is the best investing podcast out there. From a listenability standpoint, Patrick is as good as any of the great podcast hosts, finance or not. In terms of access to investors, he's a solid 8-9/10. There are also some really solid ones like Steve Schwarzman on The Knowledge Project which I think are more "useful" in the sense that you are learning about success in many forms and get a broader exposure to some other cool stuff.

Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don't you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your asshole. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.

Can't speak to gaming as I never did it in the way you're probably talking about but hiking I think you'll find that any kind of key interest area in terms of industry could be a good idea for you. Given a huge majority of Hf recruiting will be predicated on sector-focus, use your time to find something you're passionate about and take the oppty to dive deep into whatever it is. That'll play into your edge in interviews.
