Ha, 10 points for slytherin.
nailed it
White shoes should never be worn, either casually or for business, in my honest British opinion. Black is the only acceptable shoe colour for business. I look down on people who attempt to wear Brown shoes for business events - it is just plain wrong and I have seen interns/juniors sent to the shoe shop to get black ones by senior management.
I would never wear white shoes unless I'm at the gym.
nah brah
No one wears shoes on the street anymore. It's all about flip flops now.
White tennis shoes go well with shorts and a t-shirt.
If you somehow managed to get white leather dress shoes, you could try to see if you can get away with wearing them on a light gray/ sharkskin suit, but I'd rather see you wearing brown or black shoes with them.
I am in disagreement with the poster who said you can't wear brown shoes. In the US, brown shoes are appropriate with gray suits (lighter than charcoal), which you can get away with here. You can also wear them with khakis depending on your definition of business casual. (In Chicago, everyone wears khakis for business-casual; in New York it seems like everyone wears dark slacks.)
IMO white shoes only work for a smart casual look, and even then dirty bucks are superior (http://tinyurl.com/knoftub)
to be frank, I wouldn't wear the white + green unless you want to look like one of the three stooges. its a very gaudy look. when it comes to dress shoes, straying away from the classic black or brown puts you into dangerous territory.
Sorry, I just don't get the suede thing. Also, why pink soles?
