what would you rather do - er or s&t?
if you had two offers in front of you, one being an assistant trader for a boutique and the other being an associate in ER also at a boutique, which of the two would you choose and why

who cares... its your life not mine
Monty how come people give you silver bananas for such simple posts. The way I see it my historical posts were good for atleast 50 silver bananas.
Elegant in its simplicity.
i handed out sb;s to all on this post..
its like me asking you if i should wear a blue or white shirt to work tomorrow... who cares
Speaking of which... blue or white?
blue. I personally hate white and only wear it with a jacket.
I just love how everyone gave the person above them SB--talk about paying it forward.
Anyway, OP---you need to think about what you want to do with your career and then decide. i gave all a sb
neither i think you should wear a striped shirt today.
Problem solved, now I can wear blue and white.
ER. Much more transferrable skillset. Also, it is easier to learn enough S&T skills to be an effective analyst at a hedge fund as opposed to being an S&T guy trying to learn ER skills. This is obviously a very broad and general statement with many exceptions.
