What WSO makes us all think

I just wanted to shed some light on something that happens on the forums. It is not uncommon to see people on the forums telling undergrads that they are "fucked" for whatever reason it may be. I think that this dynamic creates a sense of constant tension in some undergrads who get so strung out on needing to do everything this community says to do. The truth is for us undergrads there is definitely a "best" route, but that doesn't mean someone else's path is necessarily wrong or that your "fucked" either. I would say to take most things you read on this site with a grain of salt because everyone is going to have their own take, and some people will honestly be fucking with you on this site because the reality is some people are fucking douchebags.
I got off track, but the point of my post was- do not let people on this website discourage you. As long as you work your ass off, network, learn your shit, can tell your story and are an interesting person/ candidate you will be fine. Do not let people on this site make you anxious or affect your mental state. I'm sure I will receive some hate for this post if anyone even reads it.

With all of this being said, there are some very intelligent, helpful people on this site, but it is all about identifying who those people are. And not just listening to people who are trying to get into a dick measuring contest.
