What’s a good LinkedIn profile example that isn’t just a reiteration of what exactly is on a person’s resume?

I’m lost on what’s a good LinkedIn profile. Some friends have their profiles where they have the exact same bullet points on their resume + other positions/activities not on the resume.

Other friends (fewer though) have expanded their information on their positions/activities (long lists, more and/or longer bullet points)

I think I would opt for expanded version because why would LinkedIn be used if it’s the same stuff on the resume? Or I was thinking to focus more on the “elevator pitch” About Me section. Advice on how to make a good LinkedIj profile?

Tips - in no particular order

- Put a page banner of the New York City skyline, super tasteful and shows that you able to thrive in a fast pace environment. *something that shows the GS building is bonus points

- Add a link to your person portfolio - shows that you're super experienced and have skills in the equity markets

- Add your pronouns to your name!! Great for showing people that you're caring and considerate of furry's

- Write LONG extensive points about what you did at every single one of your jobs (even that restaurant job from junior year in high school - you didn't bus tables, you interacted with customers and led orderly exchanges to achieve group cohesion)

- Make sure and add every BB to your interests page - think that this is pretty obvious

- Frequently make posts to show everyone what you're truly proud to announce - how else would they know?

- And also make sure you do every one of the linkedin certifications to show that your full of industry knowledge

When I was interviewing this all felt so dumb, like there really is no tangible nor superficially visible difference between me and the next guy that I could demonstrate to the interviewer within the allotted time that could simultaneously, feel in context AND not sound show-offy, douchey or awkward.

Ideally I think your LinkedIn should just be a highly condensed version of your resume, with a two line description of each of your jobs and maybe a couple of simple bullet points. The goal of your resume is to get people interested enough to sit down with you and have a conversation and the goal of LinkedIn is to get people interested in seeing your resume or having a coffee chat or something.
