Whats better for MBA? or MBB?

Hey everyone,

I'm going to be an upcoming senior this next school year, and I'm wondering if should I focus on case interviews and try to get a full time offer at a Tier 2/3 consulting firm (ACN MC, PwC MC... etc) or Focus on technical software interviews and try to land a engineering position at a Big tech firm (GAFA)? Which path would be better for business school later on or even to lateral into MBB?

Being at GAFA or MBB or even LEK, ATK, RB, OW and Parthenon-EY shows you're pretty much at the top of your respective field. I think choosing between the two depends on the school you want to do your MBA at; I have a feeling some may prefer MC and some Tech. I think the best way is to look at the classes of the last 2-3 years of the schools you had in mind and and see the pre-MBA background. That should give you a better idea.

If you look at this years HBS MBA class profile, 16% came from MC and 15% from Tech. At Wharton it was 26% MC and 9% Tech suggesting Wharton prefers MC.
