What's the appropriate ask re: comp package?

Hey all -

Question for you. I'm a buy-side investment guy with PE/HF exp.

I'm currently in mid/late stage conversations with a few family offices to build out + run an investment strategy similar to my current coverage as a HF analyst. Assume these FOs are extremely well capitalized ($1B+), and resources / infrastructure are not an issue.

What do you think is an appropriate ask on my part from a comp standpoint/structure? I was initially going to pitch a base in the 200-300s, a signing bonus (given that I haven't yet received my 2020 YE bonus), and a % of profits (10-20% range), with standard stuff like full benefits. Am I missing anything here? Does anyone have any thoughts on what a comprehensive package would look like on my end given this situation?

Thanks in advance and I appreciate all thoughts.
