What's the best Master course?
Hi,
I am about to graduate from a top 20 UK uni with a BSc Economics, with either a first or 2.1 and have some work experience as intern and data analyst.
I would like to hear your opinion on what is the best master course to get a foot in investment banking industry or related. At the moment I have the following offers: LSE MSc Political Economy of Late Development and SOAS MSc Development Economics. (around £10/12k )
Would any of these two courses help me in in reaching my goal, caeteris paribus, or should I apply for more industry specific masters from less reputed universities? (as I cannot afford paying more than £12k), for example MSc Finance and Investment at Nottingham Business School or MSc Finance and Econometrics at York.
Do you think reputation (i.e. LSE) is better than specialisation?
