What's the perfect job for an undergrad student with 1 year experience in CRE Development and fluency in foreign languages?

  1. I'm graduating next fall with a degree in information systems
  2. Honors student at a non-target school in DC metro area
  3. Experience in CRED (almost more than 1 year)
  4. Fluent in French and Arabic

What jobs do you think would fit these skills?

Provide more detail on "1 year experience in CRE Development". It is a big industry and no one can advise you without detail.

I'll feed it to you straight on the rest of the info you provided: - Information systems degree is useless in a CRE context. - Honors - I'll assume this is 3.5+ GPA. It is almost expected that people have this GPA status. That said, CRE is an apprenticeship business... summa cum laude would not even be all that benefitial in a work context. - French fluency is useless. Arabic fluency could potentially be interesting given the amount of CRE capital flowing from the middle eastern countries. That said, it would probably only be useful for capital raising purposes, and I'd imagine all the decision makers for the sovereign wealth funds speak english anyway.

This might have been a bit cold, but it's as candid as I can be answering your original post.

I was hoping you'd be fluent in Spanish. That's a great thing to have in Development. Alas, French and Arabic won't help much.

Honestly, I would stop trying to fit all of your IT/Language skills into a position. If you want to work for a developer, just look for Development Analyst positions. If you want to stay in DC, the options are almost limitless.
