What's a typical effective tax rate for IB Analysts and PE Associates

We all know the sad reality of income taxes - it'll be a long time before you start paying carry interest tax rates. What's the typical total effective tax rate of IB analysts and PE associates (pre-mba). Taxes can be complicated but I'm just curious what is a rough estimate of Total Yearly Income Taxes/Total Annual Pay (Bonus + Salary) x 100%. If this answer varies too much, maybe give profile of around how much you make, where you live, and how much income related taxes you pay.

Thanks

well i can use one of those online tax calculators but they're general. I'm just wondering if and how much a junior banker's taxes differ from other professions. It's not critical question or anything but hey if an analyst a few minutes to spare, I'd like to know. Also gauges how quality of life is for bankers in the city after considering taxes

To clear confusion, you don't really think that bankers and PE guys have a separate tax rate do you? Hate to break it to you but we're not all that special... and street salary is nice but not atmospheric
