When can you remove your GPA from your resume?
When do you remove your GPA from your resume? How many years out is the norm? I mean if one has a bunch of solid internships right out of school (IB, PE, Equity Research) should they remove it? Just out of curiosity want to see how long it took some of you to remove your GPA upon graduation.
Depends what industry/role you’re applying to. It’s usually pretty important. I mean, would you expect someone interested in PE to not list their GPA during on-cycle?
How bad is your GPA? If you’re asking this, it must be because you think your GPA looks bad on your resume
What would u say is the cut off for on-cycle pe recruitment? Is a 3.6 ok (i know its on the lower end) if ur in a solid/top group with top deal flow
There is no cut-off. It's going to make it more difficult/hurt your chances, but doors aren't completely closed. Regardless, you don't have much of a choice. You need to have your GPA on there anyway.
Not OP but what would u say is the sweet spot - are most of candidates hovering around 3.7ish with top groups etc.? I ve been told u can get in processes with roughly 3.6 cutoff then the rest just falls on ur interview/modelling test performance. 3.5 is where it starts to exclude u from processes apparently?
