When the Fuck do you Do the GMAT?

Analyst 1 in a Tier 1 BB in London... Assuming my goal is 222 (2 years IB, 2 years PE then business school) when exactly am I supposed to have the time to do the GMAT/GRE?

Tried to have a bit of a life during university so didn't do it in my final year. Could anyone share some insights? Do you just do it during your garden leave or something? Surely, you don't do it during your banking years?

Been thinking about this myself. I HATE studying for tests because I'm bad at executing the typical strategies that people use to prep. Knowing that I would personally just start studying as soon as possible and just keep it up with. Dont study for the test but study to learn the material because it doesnt really change year after year.

What? You need the GMAT for b school. GMAT also offers an online version where you can take it from home. Why would the GMAT not matter?

1) Lots of business schools have been ditching the GMAT requirement since Covid

2) Most business schools now accept the GRE, which is magnitudes easier than the GMAT
