When you woke up this morning

I am ultra green here, being from a non-target in Canada, I know I got no business in your business, but I want to ask the high flying I-bankers here, how do you feel when you wake up in the morning(or midnight or anytime you are obligated to) to go to work, how does it feel? Are you pumped to be at your job, or are you as miserable as 90% of the working mass to the prospect of another day of slavery for a paycheck? I have held many thankless and low-paying jobs since high school and I know I got no shot at being a I-Banker on wall street, so, I am morbidly curious at this point to know how does it feel to be of a such prestigious profession. Thank you for your time.

Dont put yourself down. And my family has friends who are i-bankers (also in Canada), and what I got from them is that for the first while you are very satisfied with your baller status of being an i-banker. However, later they get accustomed to being very well-off, but not as accustomed to the insane amount of stress. So ya, it all depends on your values. If money, power (kind of), and prestige is at the top of your value list, I-banking just might be for you.

It has its ups and its downs. I definitely wouldn't say that bankers wake up every morning and feel "badass." The truth is that in the financial circles that bankers frequent, they are one of the lowest on the totem pole. People tend to compare themselves to their peer group so the bankers don't have it as good as it may appear.
