where and how to invest

Hey guys,
This is an open-ended discussion on investing.

Over the past decade, I've mostly put my money in Chinese real estate.
That worked well, growing 10x in 10 years.
Not a typo.

I also would lend my liquid capital to real estate developers for 18-22%, collateralized.
That was also good.
I then diversified and started doing the same kind of collateralized hard-money lending to developers in Australia and UK, where rates were also 15-18%.

But now, with China slowing down, and with property markets globally at all-time highs, I'm not sure where to put the money.
I don't like the US stock market overall as it seems so volatile and the returns just haven't been as good as what my spoiled self was used to.
But I'm open minded to learning about US equities, I suppose.

Any of you monkeys got some good investment ideas?

I particularly like distressed real estate, etc.

But in general, I just want to learn from you investing gurus who can show my spoiled knuckle-dragging self how it's done in proper global markets.
