Where are all the super hot black chicks in NYC

Please keep the discussion lighthearted, lets not devolve into racists and keep it friendly.

Preface: I'm black but not AA. Before I moved to NY I heard stories about how New York is a Mecca for single guys and always got super excited about the prospects of sleeping with girls that looked like Normani, Lori Harvey and Sza every week. I've come to realize that most people who told me all those great things weren't looking for similar girls as I was and even though they were right about the number of attractive girls I don't think most of them knew what I was into.

Since I moved here, the only attractive girls I've met are white, asian or middle eastern. Granted I do live in on the upper east side so there might be some sampling bias but come on, its been over a year now and I've barely met any except for one night at Tao when a rapper happened to waltz in and they all lived really far away in parts of Brooklyn I hadn't even heard of.

So to my native New Yorkers on here where are they all hiding, my friends say they're mostly in LA and Miami but it feels like they keep moving the goal post, i find it hard to believe no really attractive black girl lives in manhattan so i think i must be missing something.

Black chicks aren’t in LA, they are in the southeast.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

What do you identify as? West Indian?

There’s tons of beautiful black women here. Go to one of the bars in Harlem (Yelp will help you) or in Brooklyn on any given weekend. Harlem, Fort Greene, Bed Stuy. I could name more neighborhoods but you aren’t looking hard enough.

A lot of black women don’t hang out in the same areas as your preppy white chick in NYC so if you’re looking in UES, West Village, LES you won’t find tons of them there.

Check out a bar in Brooklyn called Ode to Babel. If you’re AA/West Indian, I’m kind of surprised you’re having trouble finding what you’re looking for. Also if you’re expecting to find tons of chicks that look like Lori Harvey wherever you go, that’s like expecting to find dozens of Margot Robbie’s. It’s not happening because it’s not the norm.

I'm african but spent all my life in england so i identify as either depending on who i'm speaking to. In london, i just say the african country i'm from but over here because of my accent i usually just say british till they get to know me better.

Also I love your lori harvey and margot robbie analogy. If we're being real most people are average and looking for that level of beauty to pass by me in the street everyday is beyond wishful thinking.

I have not heard of ode to babel and have actually only been to Brooklyn once to visit a store in Williamsburg the distance is just such a turn off plus I think bars are better with a wingman which I don't have atm that would want to venture deep into brooklyn on the regular. And ashamedly, yes I have been looking in UES, West Village and LES didn't think it would be that big a difference since in london everyone just hangs out spread evenly across the sqaure mile, there really isn't a pronounce place for races.
