Where do you look for Jobs?
I don't like my current job in Valuations and I want to leave. My salary leaves much to be desired and there really is no upside potential to the job as bonuses are minimal. I've certainly learned a lot but I'm now looking for another challenge. I've been with a well know firm in the industry (Think Big 4/D&P) for 15 months now and I'm looking to get out. I started with them right out of undergrad.
I've been contacted through LinkedIn by 3 or 4 recruiters over the last couple of months and I always pursue those opportunities but I've yet to get anything other than a phone interview.
I'm not exactly certain what I would like to do but I am considering IB, Equity Research and Corp Strategy (not likely).
Where does everyone go to look for jobs? I've spent sometime on Craigslist, LinkedIn, etc. but does anyone have a better source? I have to sift through a lot of garbage jobs on those places.
start with networking...alumni, friends, etc. what city you want ?
San Francisco
Easy, you reply back to the headhunter who has been leaving 20 messages to you on LinkedIn.
I would start by looking six feet under, unless he was cremated - for that, I'm not sure.
