Which banks have a 2yr analyst prorgramme instead of 3?
Would be interested to know which banks offer a 2 year analyst programme. Some like Centerview / Lazard said their analyst programmes are 3 years and that seems pretty long.

Curious as well. Does JP have a 2 year program or a 3 year program? I have seen people at GS move up the ladder after 2 years.
2 years at JPM
Think MS/DB does as well. But usually the banks with 2 year analyst programs have 4 year associate programs instead of 3. So if your goal is to be an IB lifer, the shorter analyst stint does not mean much.
You'd much rather be getting associate pay for that extra year than analyst pay so it still means something
BofA and DB - Can confirm
Pretty sure BofA is 2 year promote for all analysts. correct if wrong
MS is 2 years now.
GS
For London, as far as I know, banks with 2 year programs are: GS MS BAML DB
Caveat is that time to VP is not likely to be shorter than banks with 3 year programs
JPM, CS and Citi are historically 3 years, but not sure if this has changed in the past year (someone above mentioned JP is 2 years now but not sure about this). Barclays and UBS I believe are on calendar year cycles and so are effectively 2.5 years. Think most EBs and MMs are 3 years.
JP is 2... at least for NYC and i'd imagine it's the same for London
think JPM moved to 2 years this year. that’s what I was told.
Guggenheim is also 3 years
Do most people recruit on cycle and leave before starting the third year or do a decent amount leave after the third year? Also would you know the amount of analysts that typically do A2A in each class?
Citi has a 3 year program but if you are in the top bucket, you can be promoted in 2 years.
This is how Wells is
Lazard US used to be 2 + optional 1 (guys that went PE and HF would leave after 2, select good analysts that didn't go buy side would be granted a third year).
Banks like Greentech and FT Partners have recently shifted to 2 year analyst programs. Good move but is it enough...
RBC is 3 years and 2 for high performers. This year, apparently there was a lack of high performers globally because the number of early promotes is way down.
