Which Club Would Be Better To Start?

Would like to start either a Student Investment Fund or an Investment Banking Club at my school, which currently has neither. I enjoy what is involved with each, but am unsure which will ultimately look better on a CV. Thoughts?

Just start whatever one you think sounds more fun. Someone is 100% going to ask you why you started the club and your passion better come through or they’ll know you made it for your resume and you’ll come off looking like a hardo. Personally I’d start an investment club over the IB club. What are you going to do in the IB club? Technicals?

Starting an investment club - if you're truly serious - I can help you / advise you how to easily start the equivalent of a stock-picking club (every school has that tho), for leveraged finance (leveraged loans). Instead of investing in stocks, you're investing in leveraged loans, and growing a leveraged finance / loan capital markets / credit skillset to add actual real job skills to the resume that you would need to do that type of job. Hit me up if you're interested, would love to help.
