Which finance subsector has the best looking people?

I don't want to work around ugly people because they give off cuck energy. Which sector do good looking people work in? IB? PE? HF? VC?

VC people seem to be soyboys and from what I've seen the consumption of corn syrup and video games make them look like absolute ghouls. HF is where the nerds who were bullied in high school go. PE and IB is full of pencil neck Asians.

I would have worded your question very differently, but I want you to have an answer. IR professionals, including at publicly traded firms are an easy pick. Equity sales roles at say a Redburn have really good looking people. I’ve seen some good looking men in Business Development on the buy-side, which is likely because they’re doing outreach and there’s a halo effect that influences their success there. The more publicly facing the role is, the more selective pressure there is for physical attractiveness, which tends to be borne out in my experience.

Interestingly, I've found Business Development people as well to have some of the better looking people too. I'm thinking that more beautiful people are just picked for the roles and that those people often find the most success, leading them to the top. That said, it's hard to know exactly where the most physically attractive people work since the world of finance is simply so large.

If you are going that route then pharma rep or medical device sales is always a good looking dude or smokeshow girl. Basically any role where you have crusty, nerdy, but wealthy/powerful old men who also were likely losers growing up (aka doctors or elite MBA grads) in decisions to spend money that isnt theirs will absolutely throw it at a client/consultant/sales rep just because she is hot, laughs at a few jokes, and goes out on a dinner with them
