Which funds/managers do you guys follow?

Hi - I'm a rather clueless student trying to learn more about different strategies in the HF industry in practice. I've been trying to read a report a day - investors letters/research. Currently following Hindenberg, Citron, Muddy Waters on the short side.

What are your suggestions on research I can read on the long side? or in other strategies - would love to learn more about credit/distressed/global macro.

Thanks guys

Broadly speaking, to discover new investors hop on Twitter and start following those guys and VC guys and people whose content they like. I use Twitter as a finance/econ information aggregator and it organically expands your knowledge base.

On the long side, I like Chris MacIntosh and Brad McFadden. They run an investing group called "Capitalist Exploits". They focus on long plays and they go for long-term gains. If you want to learn how these hedge fund managers think, then you can join their free live chat room where they provide their raw market commentary. If you want to join, you can visit the link in my signature below. Note: Do this if you want to do this, I am not trying to convince anyone of anything here. Join if you want to join. Thanks.
