Which Internship Should I Take for Future in Consulting?

Hi! I hope I'm posting in the right forum (this is my first post). I am currently a sophomore at Princeton studying Economics. I am interested in going into consulting in the future (I want to keep finance open though). I started recruiting for internships pretty late this summer so I'm down to just two choices:

1) Interning at a mid-sized Government Consulting Firm in D.C. (I would be working with clients in the public sector and attending congressional fundraisers, etc).
2) Interning at a large retail and clothing manufacturer in NYC. (I would be doing planning/marketing for transactions with a retailer).

I don't have a huge preference for location.

I don't have any experience or background in government/political science and I'm not sure if I am interested in govt. The government consulting firm would provide me with mentors and give me experience in learning about lobbying and PACs (I literally do not know anything about it).

On the other hand, the internship in NYC at a retail manufacturer seems more in line with my background in figuring out logistics for businesses. It's a lot larger so not sure how much interaction and mentoring I would get out of it.

Both seem interesting to me but are kind of not in the same direction. Ultimately, I want to work in the private sector doing consulting/business analyst roles.

I need to decide in two days. Any input? Thanks!
