Which looks better for MBA: Dual Degree in Accy/Fin? or Big 4 Internship?

Hi,

I'm a senior in a 5 year program for a dual degree (Accounting and Finance). My current GPA is 3.7 and I haven't taken the GMAT yet.

I have one more year to go and now I'm interning with DB Asset Management.

The problem is that I have accepted a co-op Big 4 internship which starts in Jan 2012 before accepting the internship at DB and at the time of acceptance, I planned to graduate in Dec 2012 with a dual degree.

After few months of the acceptance, I heard back from DB with a SA position and (since this was what I truly wanted to do) I accepted the offer.

If I get a full time offer from DB I will definitely accept it. I will have to start working probably around June 2012 but this will prevent me from graduating with a dual degree because I will also do the co-op internship since I don't want to burn any bridges. I will not accept the full time offer even though they give me one.

My question is, for MBA admission, is it better to have a Big 4 internship experience on my resume or a dual degree in Accounting and Finance?

Do you want to get the MBA straight after college? If you plan on getting a FT job first, do the double major. B schools don't care about your summer internships once you're working FT.

If you're applying straight to MBA, the more work experience you have the better, so it's worth considering the internship and kicking ass at it.
