Hi everyone, I really need some advice now. I've got two offers from Tulane and U of Maryland, both MSF program. Which one should I choose and why?

This is a no brainer. Tulane. Tulane also has an MSF in Energy. @TNA can comment more on it. One of the bond salesmen I work down the desk from went to Tulane's MSF program, not Energy though. He focused on the Burkenroad reports (Equity Research) program there, which he liked. Tons of guys go there and become traders in nat gas, electricity, oil, or become Equity Research Analysts. The guy down from me is a bond salesman on my desk. I've heard good things from Tulane. I'm sure you have to bust your hump to find a job, but Maryland is a no go. I haven't heard of anyone who went there.
Thank you for your advice. How about Fordham? They have a Ms in Global Finance program there. Tulane has a better program of course, but NYC has more opportunities than New Orleans.

Not sure about Fordham. Haven't heard anyone mention anything about them. I would think that the NY proximity would help but then I wouldn't want to risk that. Overall, I hear more about Tulane and it also seems that Tulane students have more leeway in terms of where they can go. Fordham seems trapped in NY/NJ area. Tulane students can get jobs in trading houses in Houston, New Orleans or Chicago. Maybe NY.
Thank you. I think I will go to Tulane. Just one more thing, how about Baruch? I was told Baruch has a very good reputation in NYC and I don't need to pay $60 000 in Baruch.
NO!. Baruch is out of the question. Are you kidding?
Why is that?
