which route should i take?
Following graduation i have these two options open to me. Which of these two (if any) will look favorable towards getting into a top 10 MBA program within the next 4-5 years
- smale boutique Asset Management firm in the caymen islands
or
- finance rotational program for a decent sized healthcare/hospital organization (not F500 or anything)
I don't want to accept a job that will hinder my chances of getting into a top school. I understand there are many peices of the MBA admissions puzzle, but lets assume I have competitive (gap, gmat, ect.)
Which one should I take? personal preference is indifferent. Thank you so much.
Who cares? Move to the Caymens and call it a day.
Haha, this so much. Move to the islands and be done with it.
Most decent programs don't care about the specific job, only that you had increasing responsibility, challenging work, effective team member, blah blah.
Do the rotational program so I can interview for the Islands
Can you pass me the information for the caymens job?
Cayman Islands
Cayman Islands sounds like the better option and a way better experience. Even if the work and job are shit, at least you'll have some sort of consolation.
