Who to blame for CoronaVirus?

So I guess the key question nobody is yet asking is because we are still trying to put out fires is whose head needs to come off / who should take the blame for for causing this crisis. I was watching a show on CNBC where a NYU Heath expert was being interviewed and the show anchor suggested it was the bat’s fault. Are you fucking kidding me? We are going to blame this on an animal now? How about the fucking Chinese govt take the heat for letting this wild meat industry prosper at the risk of hurting the entire world? Nobody else in the world eats this type of shit other than than a few selective Wealthy Chinese morons for whom the Chinese government allows the wild meat industry to continue to operate.,. Plus these Chinese folks are Fucking everywhere -so it’s not as if you can just escape them. I am seriously pissed. Can’t rant anywhere so I decided to come to WSO - my fb and LinkedIn are filled with Asians friends of mine....stay safe all

Funniest

The virus was originated from bats but transmuted through a intermediate hosts. Get you facts right before posting, where’s your attention to details? Anyway, where do you expect virus to come from if not animists? from you dumbass?

Everyone complains about the Gov't, but I have a new found appreciation for everything the FDA and local health dept. do to keep us safe.

(But I'm still upset they allow grated parmesan cheese to be cut with a certain amount of saw dust!)

You can blame everyone!

Govt and pharmaceutical companies are aware of these viruses. The economics don't make sense to make a vaccine for something that may not become a pandemic.

After this pandemic you better bet there may be govt (World Health Org.) funding to creates vaccine to proactively mitigate these threats.

Look at SARS, once the threat was gone (due to weather) nobody cared and stopped funding a vaccine.

Controversial

Dude viruses originate in animals but do humans really need to eat bats, Lizards, Raccoons, bears, dogs and the kind? Viruses spread because humans came into contact with them when trying to consume them? Why did they come in contact? Because the Chinese govt has legalized and encouraged the wild meat market to prosper. Thx to the f-ING Chinese, we’ve had SARS and now corona In last 20 years and we will hAve more such diseases if the world doesn’t rein on the Asians' eatings habits. Maybe the reason you’re getting so riled up is because you’re Asian and enjoy this kind of dumb shit to eat

Lol, if you care to fact check, maybe less than 15% of you fcking statement is correct. Be upset with your fcking PM who seem to be very fond of Darwinism survival of the fittest. Lies, coverups and incompetence of governments everywhere is to blame for the pandemics

Dafuq are you talking about? That's some backward thinking shit I'd hear from a redneck.

1st of all, new diseases are caused as pathogens find new hosts. Sometimes these new hosts are people, sometimes they're other animals, and sometimes even plants. It could easily have been from cows we eat so regularly. I mean have you heard of Avian Influenza and Swine Flu? They literally came from livestock virtually everyone eats.

2nd of all, nothing wrong with eating wild meat. It's part of the culture. I mean English food is shit. It tastes like shit, looks like shit, and makes you feel like shit. I'm not gonna rein down on your English ass (if you are) and tell you to stop eating your marmites and black puddings and other horrible looking food. If someone or group of people want to continue eating horrible tasting food, I'm gonna tell them "that's disgusting, but it's your choice". Same thing with eating wild meat.

3rd of all, everyone eats all sorts of weird shit, especially Europeans. Parts of Switzerland still eat dogs and cats pretty regularly. French used to eat dogs and cats regularly up until WW1. English people eat human feces even today.

Last of all. The real issue is not with eating wild meats but the lack of safety concerns. French eat foie gras. That's GOOSE LIVER. I'd consider eating any liver to be weird. But people figured out a way to make it safe so there we go. Them Chinese just need to figure out a way to make things safer because they're not gonna stop eating weird food. It's so prevalent in their culinary culture.

It results from the uncivilised act of eating wild animals. I grew up in that culture (not China, a closely similar one). Appalled and disgusted by those 'social norms', so I went work for a wild life conservation organisation after graduating from high school.

Tried everything we could to stop those poachers in Africa trafficking wild animal products to Asia and the domestic poachers as well. Did meddle with the underground businesses of some criminal syndicates, received multiple death threats.

Also tried to educate the public in regards to this matter. But man it was hard to help people learn the fact that rhino horns wont cure your erectile dysfunction, people (in China and some other parts of Asia) have been indoctrinated by this make believe bullshit for centuries.

We don't know who or what to blame yet. There hasn't been a finalized and confirmed source of the virus. But there are many likely scenarios, which have been laid out throughout the news though.

One thing I can say though, is that we know the source of stupidity, racism, ignorance, and unnecessary fear.... and that's you.
