Who would you son?

"Sonning" defined by our good friends over at Urban Dictionary, as:

To disgrace a person. son: In the past (Mainly on the East Coast) calling some one "son" meant you desrespected that person.

This got me thinking about all the schmucks I'd son if privileged status or the ability to navigate elite security team run blocking were skills I could claim on my resume .

Note to self: today's tuna can arbitrage at store must be mentioned in next HF interview.

Naturally, my sonning expedition would begin and end in D.C. but there would certainly be some globe trotting involved. But alas, us small fries don't get complimentary shakers to go with our salt. When you're Bill Gates, however, sometimes you do .

I can just imagine
Bad-Ass Billy G.
steppin' to Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao with his posse of Blankfein, Dimon, Stiglitz, Chenault & Nooyi while demanding more so than asking:

Yo...son...can I get this quarter, yo!?

Naturally, in the cardboard smile elitist world where gawky sweater muppets and pudgy suit stretchers rule, things are nowhere this uncouth and improper.

In fact, when you have Henry Kissinger there to mediate, pardon...moderate...the faux debate/super-power lunch, there is no need for unpleasantness. None-at-all.

This brings me to the point: why can't important social, political and economic issues be settled in a truly civilized manor?

Like...a duel or at least a public sonning of your rival? I'm tired of all these dramatic discussions that amount to nothing and soon my trusty punching bag will suffer the consequences of my anger...but in the meantime...

If you could son anyone without consequences or repercussions...who would you son? and how would you do it?

P.S. D"e"srespected...yeah...you read that right...son.
