Why did Jared Kushner not go to Harvard for his JD/MBA?
He went to Harvard for undergrad because of a donation by his parents but decided not to go to HBS for his JD/MBA, I know he probably didn't care about his career afterwards since he would be wealthy no matter what but wouldn't it be way better for him to have gone to HBS instead of NYU? Trying to understand the decision
Ask him, not us
His family's business is in NYC and NYU is a very good school. It makes sense to me.
let's be honest here ... NYU is not "very good," up-to-par at best. mostly for sons of rich Wall Street families, who, while inherently smart, may not be the most academically-driven.
I'd recommend UC Berkeley, Stanford, or Chicago if you're looking for a truly good school
For a JD/MBA, Stern and NYU Law are about as good as you can get, other than Penn and Harvard. They are better than both Berkeley and Stanford for what he wanted to do. University of Chicago has a great MBA in finance but I am not sure about their law school.
NYU Law is harder than any B school
Asking the important questions!
Because even Harvard has a limit to how many breaks he’s going to get.
Because he wasn't Jewish enough obviously
