Just wondering whether HR gets a kick from messing around with students, from ghosting applicants after an interview, keeping job posts open even AFTER its been filled, and my favourite of all, not talking to desks that are spearheading recruitment, just to turn around and tell grads that theyAFTER interviewing them. Pour one out for my international homies.
Question is why? I understand the whole thing of "there's always a new talent wanting to take your spot" but even as a person, isn't it a pretty low move to do things like that? And I would get it if they are likesome sort of ego from their job, but its literally HR, isn't being human part of the job title?! Love to get the Monkeys view on this.
