Why everybody criicize EDHEC so much?

Disclaimer: I am not a edhec student and I am not planning to apply there.
But the programme seems to be quite nice, and lately I ve seen plenty of ppl getting jobs in S&T/ER BB in London from there (to be more precise, from the MIM with 2nd year specialisation in financial markets)? Am I wrong or is getting more and more renowned? (In terms of prestige, especially from a French perspective, it s still a step below ESCP/ESSEC/HEC)

Probably less renowed than ESSEC and ESCP. But these two cannot compare to HEC. Not at all. Even in France, there is no way to compare HEC to any other institutions.

EDHEC is having a great time, being frequently ranked among top business schools for finance. Its other programs, however, are far less famous and renowed. I'd say that the main difference between EDHEC and the other two schools (ESCP, ESSEC) does not lie in their finance programs, but rather in the other programmed offered, which are far more competitive at ESCP or ESSEC.

Just my point of view! Happy to elaborate if need be.

It’s all about the reputation then? I mean, I have seen quite a bit of guys getting into S&T in London/Paris. The course (I am specifically referring to the financial markets one) seems pretty well structured, maybe they are even more prepared than their essec/escp counterparts.

The school isn't as well rounded as its peers and therefore suffers in recognition. People on the IB side barely know of it as it's not targeted at all, same for consulting and in large corporates its alumni base is no where near the top3. Below the top 3, schools that compare are good engineering school as often seen as harder to get into and some HFs only hire from these (quant/fundamental) due to legacy founders being from these.

I see, Thank you for your answer!

I wouldn't necessarily agree with this piece of information:

In fact, I personally know a couple of current students in EDHEC's dual MiM/M.Sc. Corp. Fin. who were able to get recruited in no fewer than three (3) IB Spring Weeks positions in London, an then later received multiple offers in London Tier 1 IB BB for SA positions (JPM, MS).

Furthermore, a quick LinkedIn search shows many students currently interning in Tier 1 IB in London, in IB front-office roles.
