Will Asians follow in the steps of Jews career-wise?

There has been a lot of talk in the news media about how Asians are the new Jews based on indicators such as income, social mobility, and discrimination by elite university admissions. These indicators also indicate that Asians today look a lot like Jews in the 1950's.

After WWII, Jews began infiltrating once WASP strongholds in the Ivy League, Wall Street, and Hollywood. Today, Jews represent a majority at these institutions, especially Wall Street, which used to be predominately WASP. My question is, will Asians follow the same footsteps? If so, which industry(s) will they dominate? I don't really see any indication that Asians are going to be that powerful in finance even though there are a lot at the analyst levels, but not at the top. Maybe Silicon Valley? Jews dominated Wall Street primarily because of their population in NY, which Asians already have in SF, and SV is already 1/3 Asian.

I sure as hell hope Asians start doing better in the finance sector (if Indian counts in your theory), except if you're implying that they'll discriminate and hire within their culture like people have claimed Jewish people do - then don't worry, cause I wouldn't discriminate :).
