Will Assange beat the rap?

So the situation looks like a farce to me but that doesn't mean Assange will be set free. The Euro's don't have a lot to lose by imprisoning one trouble maker. Uncle Sam certainly won't 't send an Black Hawks to bust him out.
So is this a slap on the wrist or the beginning of the end for Mr. Assange?
Also, today was slow so I made this image.
No way he gets convicted, for this reason:

This stuff will make it's way out over time anyway. There's no way wiki-leaks has that material and doesn't "share" it. With or without Assange as their fearless leader.
So do you think Obama will exert pressure to keep him free? It may be in our best interest to keep him leaking shit that most people already knew until we can find a way to deal with the poison pill.
The military does have some of their own geniuses. It's only a matter of time before they create an antidote to this poison pill.
Someone just needs to put a bullet in this nutcase already. If I had federal pardon, you bet I'd have no problem cappin' this fuckhead.
Honestly, since when do we negotiate with such lunatics?
How is this in any way a negotiation?
