Exit opps after central bank? worth it?
Does anyone know about the exit opps after working several years in a central bank in continental europe (e.g. Germany/France/Belgium/Netherlands/Luxembourg/Austria)?
(My friend has worked in different roles which include risk and Asset Management & banking supervision & some monetary; and now wants to generate some cash :-))
Also:
-Any opinions in general about pursuing a career in a central bank?
-What about the exit opps? Would it eventually be worth it financially?
-Smart choice for grads?
-Are there any exit opps to london as well?

I'd like to know this as well. I've been working 2+ years as an analyst/researcher at the central bank in Ireland in mostly risk and Asset Management too.

Will central bank research experience help getting an position at BB Equity Research Division?
Sure, if you're trying to get a job in the FIG group. It is good experience, and may even help get your foot in the door in another sector, depending on what your position was.
The research area is in financial stability. Any ideas which sector this experience will lead to?
