I'm wondering if I should include one line on my resume listing an internship that was cancelled do to COVID-19. Should I include it?
Also, I will be returning to the same firm I interned at last semester. Would it look weird if I wrote out the date on one line like "January 2020-May2020, Aug 2020-Present" ?

Well I'm an intern like you, so take my advice with a grain of a salt. I don't think it would be THAT awkward to name the same company twice in a row considering you had a one month break in between. For the cancelled internship I'd say no because it doesn't help your case, and it personally gives me the feeling you want to be pitied by the person reading your resume.
