Despite Europe's cultural pretentiousness, once again we will drag them, kicking and screaming, to a better place: it's in America's job description.

lol. I think the US needs to bail itself out first.
dont worry, the taxpayers will do that as well. There isnt a problem in the world that cant be solved by fucking american workers and taxpayers right in the ass.....
^^^^^ Our troops as well. Being anti(erronious)war =/= anti-troops. Why the hell should our nation bleed for the sake of their stability? Nuke 'em and be done with it.

Ok, the above is just silly but it's lurking in the back of almost every American's mind whether or not they choose to acknowledge it.

The current system has too many moving parts that allow the politicians to obscure / push off very basic economic realities until they are so bad that they drive the system towards collapse. I don't know enough about their system to recommend a remedy but this is the root of the problem. Compare to the US where a debt is called a debt, and no one contests the understanding that you have to pay it back.....as opposed the Eurozone countries that seem to take turns looking for ways to get a free ride out of plundering what are supposed to be communal / systemic resources.

of course the US taxpayers will bail out europe....what the fuck are you thinking

It's been running around in rumors.

I mean if Obama proposes this or even mentions it, people will want his resignation and/or try to impeach him. If Congress passes this, a revolution. I mean now is arguably the worst time to even mention the words bailout, rescue, or money in the same sentence without irritating somebody.

It's just interesting to see many of these articles popping around since it was a matter of time before the ECB / Europeans would have the audacity to ask the Americans for help when we have our own share of problems.

bro, those little fucking weasels in DC will certainly bailout europe and will they the public?, fuck no.....theyll do it like snakes that they are

Anybody with minimum knowledge knows that Obama cannot pull this off. Maybe if Hank Paulson was still the Treasury Secretary, this could be possible. But anyhow, this illustrates the seriousness of the problem in Europe. It is known that Eurpean corporations threse day are seeking credit lines outside of Europe to support their day-to-day operations and diversify their funding sources. The funding costs for both corporates and governments are edging up, and if one of the EU members goes underwater there really might be a Lehman-like liquidity crisis. And agree with everybody else in the thread. How on earth can we save others while our house is not in order??????????????????

You guys are delusional.

Also the anti-war = anti troops comment is one of the best examples of why Americans are widely considered to be amongst the stupidest people in the world (not by me, but by the majority of my brethren).

I would love to see where the ECB or even politicians within any of the peripheral nations have asked for help from the second most indebted nation in the world - I think Europe would look for capital from countries who have actual money, not a currency which will shortly resemble the Zimbabwean dollar in 2007 and a primary deficit which will shortly be running into the trillions.

Let me explain a few things to you: 1. Anti-war DOES NOT EQUAL anti-troops. I hate when Americans are dying in some third world cesspool because THEY can't get their shit together. Same w/ Europe: our troops provide their security, and Europe spends the difference on welfare states.....and STILL somehow ends up in the red. A few hippie assholes shat on everyone, troops included, a few decades ago and now anyone who doesn't have bloodlust must be of a similar scumbag strain? I don't think so. Most Americans have a hard on for our soldiers and cringe whenever they have to go into harm's way b/c some other nation is run by shitheads.
  1. America is stupid b/c you disagree / are jealous? That's not going to help you get ahead: Europe has been ragging this line for generations in order to change the subject off of their own problems, but look at us, look at them, who would you rather be? Just to make my point: 40% of people in India can't write their own name and yet I hear Indian people saying all the time how stupid and ignorant Americans are (easy example, I'm not trying to single out India)

  2. America is a very new civilization, but has managed to do what older ones have failed / never attempted to do.......don't hate appreciate. Democratic Republicanism, equal rights, the largest and most powerful empire and economy EVER, the highest standard of living EVER, the world's primary technological innovator for over a century.....the list goes on and on.

  3. Europe already HAS started soliticing funds from other areas, and the US will bail them out IF AND ONLY IF they can't fix their own problems. We would of course do so in a way that ultimately benefits our civilization as well, much like WWII making us the strongest nation by default a couple of generations ago.....that's our MO.

It's nothing personal but I had to give you a hard time dude, I'm really tired of hearing it.

UFOInsider, when I read your posts I imagine a 6 year old retarded child shouting and repeatedly running into a glass door.

I'm not sure what any of your post means. I think you are angry about something (hence the capital letters) but I am not able to identify what it is.

Your latest post is intriguing (by intriguing I obviously mean moronic).

Whilst I would love to pick apart every part of your post, I have better things to do. I will however pose a little question - can you explain how America (I can only assume you mean the USA and not continental North and South America) has 'the largest empire ever' - are you historically inaccurate, geographically naive or mentally 'inexperienced'?
