Work experience advise

Hi all,

I’m in a dilemma as to what my next career move should be. I was hoping to get some advice by such well experienced professionals on this forum:

My background:
• B.Com – Finance and Economics Major - University of Toronto
• Chartered Institute of Management Accounting - CIMA (UK)
• 2.5 years work experience as an Associate consultant(recently got promoted) with KPMG in Risk Advisory within the Real estate sector

My main aim is to work another 2-3 years before applying for an MBA (Targeting top 10 schools). Im at a crossroads as to what my next career move should be.

At this point, I have 4 options at hand:
1. Shift to Transaction Advisory within KPMG
2. Strategy consulting with Accenture
3. Corporate Strategy at the largest real estate developer in India – DLF
4. Continue with Risk advisory – my current assignment is a loan staff to the 3rd option mentioned above.

I know that that I need to have a unique story while applying to these MBA schools and just wanted to know which options would help my story further. After researching about class profiles at these top schools, ive noticed that less than 20% come from Consulting. My main concern is that how will my profile be matched against other Consulting backgrounds when applying. Would I have a better shot at top schools by shifting into strategy at this Real estate developer?

I do realize that B-school candidate evaluation takes into account a lot of other factors, but purely from a work experience perspective - Please let me know how you would rank these 4 options with my aim in mind.

I would be grateful to get to know your views. Thanks in advance!
