Worried About Exit Opps From Low-Tier BB
Hi all,
I am currently about to start FT at a low-tier BB (think DB/UBS) and am worried that my exit opportunities are limited. I am not exactly set on a PE role but many of my classmates are at top-tier BB or EB banks and I am concerned that I will not be able to place anywhere promising out of my current bank. Will it limit me for MBA, PE, F500, HFs or am I exaggerating the lack of prestige which these low-tier BBs give me?
Please don't respond with "prestige doesn't matter" because let's face it that's not how most people in this forum think. Any insight would be appreciated

I would not group UBS with Db
You’d be lucky getting a job at McDonald’s coming from DB. UBS is a different story. Since you’re not disclosing which firm, we can’t answer your question... Commercial branch banking might be an option.
Also interested to hear more input on this.
Don't complain about where your at. Kill it as an analyst and network to get where you wanna be
you are exaggerating....so long as these firms don't blow up like Lehman....you'll be fine...they are all multi billion $ firms...and you would be lucky to work at any of them
This is a toxic thread.
