Answering your question: no, it has not affected my personal career, income or personal life at all. Still the same situation as before, but WFH is not great for me. Would prefer to be with people for 2-3 days a week. rest WFH or traveling. that is most likely the goal for our company anyway.

A lot of people in my company and partner firms are developing "the future of office work". The current estimates for us would be 3 days of office work, Fridays OR Thursday WFH and the remaining day can either be flexible or travel or something else (maybe a digital work hub, something like WeWork or a partnership with an incubator).
we will absolutely not go back to 5 days of office work.
On paper I'm doing fine as I, like most WSOers, am part of a class of people who can telework and who often have considerable equity investments. My mental health is definitely doing poorly overall. I'm pretty unhappy. Ready to take the vaccine so the world gets back to normal. I'd trade 25% returns in the stock market for 12% returns and a real life. I think the first place I'm going to vacation to when the world reopens is Broadway.

Absolutely. I could talk about how I hit a mental slump after crippling isolation this summer or how I basically became slave to a permanently online workschedule but the reality is I maintained my income, moved into a bigger place, and got a better job. So in the grand scheme I have nothing to complain about but I'd be remiss if I didn't say that at least towards the beginning / mid '20 I had a pretty rough mental crisis
I am fortunate to have kept my job, so we are good financially. it was a tough year, but glad that we've made it. I hope you are okay.
