Would you take a top group at HL or UBS/WF/DB
Would you prefer a top group at Houlihan (HC/C&R/Industrials) or a solid group at a lower tier bb/balance sheet bank like UBS/WF/DB?
edit - specifically for looking for solid MM exits not MF exits

Are there any solid groups at UBS? lmao
TMT had great momentum but obviously they're all gone now (at least for the US)
good
Their sponsors / levfin has been discussed on this forum numerous times as being quite strong. Otherwise, UBS is meh without TMT now.
Sponsors and fig have good exits but heard long hours
On a comp side HL would be the way to go
Definitely not WF from what I've seen in exits, but DB (historically) for sure and probably UBS too
Not sure if you’re actually an intern but I can’t see general exits from UBS/DB being that materially better than WF anymore. Obviously the best groups at those two yeah but not the mid tier ones
worked at WF - you don't have a prayer at getting into UMM or MF from WF. all three of those would be better than WF
Following
I would rank UBS as the highest. Then HL, then WF. I'm not sure where to put DB - it's just been so variable recently. Ultimately, if you have an offer at UBS, take it. If not, then HL.
For Europe it's UBS > DB > HL (except for RX) > WF
DB fired some 1st / 2nd year analysts from what I heard. Would definitely consider UBS / HL (group dependent) and maybe WF over it
