Would you take this Job?

I was curious to know if anyone had suggestions on my situation. I am an econ major graduating after this summer and have not had a finance based internship. I will probably be able to get a summer intern gig at a small non-metro firm but will more than likely be doing a lot of menial/admin/cold-call junk. If you were in my situation would you take this because it is in a "finance" setting and could prob. bs a little when it come to what you did, or would you take a random job that pays a little bit (internship is unpaid.)?

This is just my opinion, but if you're graduating - get a job.

It doesn't sound like this internship will propel you into a great finance career. It sounds more like you'd be unemployed in August.

Now, everything is relevant. If your parents are in a position to support you while job hunt or if you have a lot of connections that you think you can pull with some minimal experience, then I'd consider it. However, 90+% of the time my advice would be - get a job.
