WRONG SIDE OF THE TRACKS - No FORMAL EDUCATION - I CAN TRADE AND WANT IN
I am 30 years old and have a lot of life experience dealing with CASH. I have always
had interest in the market and stocks. but never got too involved. I ran a few simulators
over the years to see how I would do and I do well. Currently I have a goal set at 1K profit per day and I consistantly hit it. I am looking for the door, someone who can show me the way. Either I need a capital partner to back me up and profit with me OR I need an entry level possition where I can exibit my talent.
I am not here to waste anyones time, please don't waste mine.

you have documented record?
few prop firms in any major city you can apply to. If you know your stuff you should be able to get a start. Honestly your age will work against you but I think you know that. Good luck and give it your best shot

And how much buying power are you using for your net $1K?
why do you want to find a job if you can make 1k every day? after 1 year you should have plenty to bankroll yourself.
Trade some real money first. By the way, questions typically end in question marks.
On my think or swim paper trading account I have $1,000,000 in fake money I can easily generate $10k+ a day :) Your ROI is more important % wise. I think your best bet would be a prop shop with no salary, commission only. If you say you are a rising star you will do good. Also why not borrow from your friends or family and start trading from home ?
if you can get into prop shops do it.

i think your lack of formal education is setting you back more than your age. have you considered getting a university degree? there are all sorts of grants available for people going back to school, and you are still young enough to benefit from an investment in education.
consider going to community college for two years and then transferring to a school with a finance program. if you work hard you can be out in 3 years. in that time you can do internships to get your foot in the door.

I don't recall thinking of education, I am looking for a chance to TRADE. I am REALLY off the wall, compared to the heard, but that also serves me well. I am 30 and looking to settle into a life style, including trading for a living. I am serious and if you want - pm me - I tried to contact you and have not heard back yet, don't know it worked.

Again, if you're serious, PM me. There's a shop around the corner from me that will take pretty much anyone. ALSO: forget the 'lifestyle' thing - it's a job, and this isn't Hollywood where you plug in and start cranking out millions: it takes a lot of effort, time, and discipline to be good at it.
It's possible - temper your expectations of getting rich quick
Trading with real money is a totally different mindset than paper trading. Taking risk when the downside is a messed up simulator portfolio is much different and less stressful than taking risk when the downside is losing your job. You should scrape together whatever money you have and open a real trading account just to get a feel for it and to practice more. You need to watch your picks tank one day thinking "fuck there goes my 5-series" vs. "damn i'm going to need to start a new simulator account"
