WSO Certified User Group

See Group Comments Below Chat Window

This group was created to give the Certified Users their own place to network as well as receive advice from other knowledgeable finance professionals. We also now have a chat room below.

All of the Certified Users have displayed an extraordinary willingness to help others, so thank you.

good question...we can create one in here: http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forum/wso-groups ...basically a thread for Certified Users. Issue is it won't be private and we cant stop non-certifieds from posting. Well, we could remove any non-certified user posts in there as long as someone is in there to flag it.

Thoughts?

Hi InTheFlesh, I'm in Credit Risk and am considering applying and interviewing for HF positions. From my own research I have deduced that I should be able to display solid cash flow modelling skills to value a company, have a view on the current market with the ability to make a buy/sell recommendation for a company with defensible reasoning, be prepared for brain teasers that display my ability to logically work through problems, and convey a passion for the markets. Are these the correct skills to have going into HF interviews in your professional opinion, and what else am I leaving out? Thanks
