WSO Kudos

How many of you are going to say at your performance/ compensation meetings that you owe gratitude for all your modelling/ tips and tricks/ career advice to the WSO forum? Or are all you "self-made"? Straight up, say beejay2izzay sent you ... they'll know what to do

I learn a lot from here, wouldn’t know about many of the fields in finance and ways to get there without this site. It really helped me figure out what I want to do. But there is another side to this site that is a bit less serious though and so that’s why I don’t mention it anymore. Also yeah the guy was a bit of an ass.

I think it is more funny that you admitted it/said it, rather than that they were judging the fact you read WSO maybe learned something. I mean, as you said it yourself, you were a freshman, so you were not being judge too harshly unless this person was just an a-hole (I mean, sure could be!).

I would analogize it to a virgin saying they know a lot about sex because they watch a lot of porn; just the statement will get laughs and eyerolls from anyone who has engaged in the real thing!
